The Pizza Lads love this and we keep playing with it rather than their kids lol. With the Melissa & Doug Pizza Party toy, children can make believe they are creating their very own beautiful Pizza’s, which means doing everything from baking and slicing a pizza to serving it to their guests, customers and family. This excellent quality wooden toy is designed for kids three years and upwards and includes a sliceable pizza, a pizza tray, 54 pizza toppings, a pizza cutter, and a server. This all comes packaged in a sturdy wooden container for storage. The wooden pizza consists of six slices that are held together by self-stick tabs. Each piece has three self-stick disks for attaching the pizza toppings.
Children can assemble the pizza right on the green pizza tray and use pepperoni, mushrooms, or peppers, or a combination of the three toppings. They can make a pizza that almost looks good enough to eat. Once the pizza is “ready,” children can use the pizza cutter to cut the pizza. It actually has a safe wooden rolling blade, just like an authentic utensil, and the pizza slices make a fun crunching sound when they’re cut.
