ExtravaganZZa Feast Pizza from Domino’s
ExtravaganZZa Feast Pizza from Domino’s Review
What they say
ExtravaganZZa Feast Pizza, when we combine beef with loads of pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, fresh onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and black olives, all topped with extra 100 percent real mozzarella cheese on a Classic Hand-Tossed Crust, which is the traditional hand stretched crust prepared by Domino’s. This crust is made by kneading fresh dough and then hand stretching it carefully. Once the sauces, cheese, and toppings are placed, the crust is then baked to perfection.
What we say
The lads sometimes like a simple toppings pizza and other times only one with the works piled on top will do, this of course as the name suggests is in the later camp.
The pizza looked a treat with nice color contrasts and the smell was amazing. The Topping to base ratio was very favorable indeed. So let’s drill down, Base was thinnish and slightly crispy, with a fresh dough taste and toasty edges. The 100 percent real mozzarella cheese was lovely and thick and as promised has that dairy cheese offering. The Pepperoni used were Robust, spicy and meaty slivers of goodness. Delectable Ham had a nice porky smoky flavor.
The Italian sausage had that subtle meaty, oniony, spicy taste which sets it apart. Onions were strong and fresh. Green pepper strips were scattered over the top and were a welcome addition as were the mushrooms which were of a better quality than on some pizzas we have had. It was finished off with black olives which normally we don’t partially like, but they provided a contrast with the meats with their subtle bitterness. And we believe it was all finished off with some extra cheese.
Verdict, one of the prime candidates for Domino’s best pizza, if you can’t decide on a choice of pizza topping then go for the lot and you won’t go far wrong.
