What makes our pizza special? It’s in the details. Details like traditional dough, made fresh daily right here in Walpole, Mass. using only five simple ingredients: locally-milled hard winter wheat flour, water, yeast, salt and oil. Our specially crafted sauce. Top that with our signature blend of three premium cheeses for an authentic pizza with the uniquely delicious taste you won’t get anywhere else.
What we say
We were passing a Papa Ginos and thought we would pay a visit, the menu wasn’t huge but the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza sounded wonderful so we went for it.
Looks wise it’s pretty lush with a nicely browned crust and the wonderful smoky bacon smell was a treat. The dough base was thin crust and was not hard with a premium dough taste along with quite fluffy edges.
The Ranch sauce we opted for was a lovely tangy soured buttermilk creation and was generously spread. The three cheese blend was, we believe white cheddar, mozzarella, and romano and had melted to a splendid goey mix, the romano particularly gave the pizza an extra punch. Smokey bacon was flavorful with small strips that were non fatty. The grilled chicken was hot and comforting, with succulent chunks of meat.
And it was all topped off with another dollop of ranch dressing criss crossed on the top. So as a combo it works nicely with a contrast of simple ingredients that shine together like few others can . A good pizza that is well worth seeking out.
